What this notice covers
This notice covers information you send us through the public Contact form and vacancy application form, information processed by Google reCAPTCHA when you use those forms, and cookies used to operate the website.
Contact enquiries
If you send a Contact enquiry we collect your full name, email address, optional organisation, message, and the time you confirmed consent. Submissions are stored in a private staff archive so we can review and respond. They are not published on this website.
We may email the enquiry to the internal recipients configured in our application settings (To and CC). We use this information to deal with your enquiry and related follow-up.
Vacancy applications
If you apply for a vacancy we collect your first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, optional supporting message, the vacancy you applied for, your CV file, and the time you confirmed consent.
Applications and CVs are stored privately and are available only to authorised staff. We may email the application to the internal recruitment recipients configured in our application settings (To and CC). We use this information to consider you for the role and to administer recruitment.
Legal bases
We process form submissions on the basis of your consent (the consent checkbox) and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running recruitment. You can refuse consent, in which case we cannot accept the submission.
Google reCAPTCHA
The Contact and vacancy application forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 to reduce automated abuse. When you submit a form, Google receives a token and related technical information (which may include your IP address and browser data) to produce a risk score. We send that token to Google to check the submission is genuine. We do not store the token.
Google may set a _GRECAPTCHA cookie on pages that include a protected form. Google’s use of this information is described in the
Google Privacy Policy
and
Google Terms of Service.
Cookies
This website uses a session cookie so the site can function (for example to keep a logged-in staff session and to protect forms). Google reCAPTCHA cookies are used on pages that include a Contact or vacancy application form.
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) and Google may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to measure how the public website is used. Analytics is not loaded until you accept, and it is not loaded at all when no Measurement ID is configured. You can accept or reject analytics, and change that choice later, using Cookie settings in the footer.
We do not send Contact form answers, vacancy application fields, email addresses, CV names or staff administration activity to analytics.
Who we share information with
- Authorised Horizn / Superdielectrics Group plc staff who need it to respond or recruit.
- Email recipients configured in our application settings for contact or career notifications.
- Google, for reCAPTCHA verification on the public forms.
- Google, for Google Analytics, only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Service providers who host or operate this website and email, under contracts that require them to protect the information.
We do not sell your information or make Contact enquiries or applications publicly available.
How long we keep information
Contact enquiries and vacancy applications (including CVs) are kept in our staff archive until an authorised member of staff deletes the record. There is no automatic deletion period in the website. Session cookies last for the session lifetime configured on the server. Your analytics preference cookie lasts for up to one year. Google determines how long it retains reCAPTCHA and Analytics data.
International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. Google may process reCAPTCHA data and, if you accept analytics, Google Analytics data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, Google relies on its own transfer safeguards, which are described in its privacy policy.
Your rights
UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To use these rights, email info@horiznb.com.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this notice when our processing or the website changes. The current version is always available at this page.
